Elizabeth Taylor Was Taken to Hospital for the Heart Problem

Elizabeth Taylor was hospitalized for treatment of congestive heart failure.
His spokeswoman, Sally Morrison, said the Oscar-winning actress at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles was incorporated in recent days.
The 78-year-old Taylor is to the symptoms of heart failure, a condition that shows that had already been tried in November 2004.
Ms. Morrison said he did not know how long Taylor might be in the hospital. He said Taylor's family appreciated the support from fans, but asked for privacy for the medical team to do their job.

Taylor was scheduled to attend a charity gala for amfAR on Wednesday night in New York, where he was an award along with former President Bill Clinton and the designer Diane von Furstenberg able to celebrate their commitment to AIDS research.
But Taylor missed the event, Sir Elton John had the honor of his name and walked along a message from her: "I am there in spirit and I join you in saluting my honorable colleague, and all these extraordinary leaders.
"I am inspired by his example, excited by his vision and encouraged by his compassion and love. And I want it back."

Taylor, who has appeared in over 50 movies, won an Oscar for her performances in Butterfield 8 in 1960 and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in 1966.
But she was as famous for their marriages - eight of them, two with Richard Burton - and his ongoing struggle with drug abuse, weight and physical discomfort.
